How HOPE Grocery Bags Was Born

My name is Hope. I live in Texas and raised my family of 3 children here. With my daughter’s encouragement I opened my shop on Etsy in 2014. She is an avid Etsy window shopper and said I should not just make bags for myself, but for her and the rest of the world. “Mom, they’re really cute, sturdy, and beautiful. You can do it and I will be your marketing director.” That statement was made in 2012 before her first child was born.

Before I opened my Etsy shop another darling grandchild came into the world. Should I have been surprised when she said, “Mom, sorry, but I really can’t help you very much. But Mom, you can do it!” Since November of 2014 I have been learning all about how to be a marketing director, how to take advantage of social media options, and how to communicate through it and sew bags and dolls. Fortunately confronting challenges and overcoming them is a great way to stay busy in a constructive, helpful manner. So no hard feelings; my daughter was sincere in her words, but God blessed her with two adorable children that she is devoting her time to right now. So, with my sewing skills I sew bags, dolls, doll clothes, and take photos of my products, load them up on Etsy and I continue to learn how to do this more effectively so the rest of the world will be aware of the great products I hand make to Help Our Planet Earth (HOPE) by ridding it of ugly plastic bags that are destroying our planet Earth.

After a while I was not meeting with enough success on Etsy. This new website, which I opened in May of 2023, is a new beginning.

My cause in life is to clean up our Earth for our future generations and it is exciting that with your help and concerns for Earth you can join me in accomplishing this goal! The question now is can we get enough people to change their habits, make some sacrifices and give up some of their unnecessary conveniences, and join forces with me to begin restoring our Earth to her original state of beauty?
